The thin veneer is 1.5” thick +/- ¼”. Thin veneer stone is applied to the walls.

Another great option is to use Stone panels. Stones are cut down to a specific size and applied to a backer. The panels are among the easiest to install. These panels usually go together like a puzzle piece. The panels give a seamless look with premade flats and corners.

Generally, used an accent on homes.

· More coverage per truckload

Cons of stone veneer siding:

· Requires additional materials for installation.

· More labor on exterior walls




3. Dry Stack

Natural stone dry stack is applied to a home’s exterior like brick veneer. Some homeowners prefer a stacked stone look.

Natural stone dry stack is best as an accent on your home’s exterior. It is most often derived from marble, granite, and quartz, so you will need to reseal it regularly to keep it in good shape.

Pros of natural stone cladding:

· Lighter weight than solid stone

· Durable

· Easier to install versus solid stone

Cons of natural stone cladding:

· Sharp edges are exposed
