Quentin Hunter
Architect Designer, LEED AP, & Licensed Contractor
Co-Owner, Hunter Stone LLC
As Co-Owner of Hunter Stone LLC in Haughton, Louisiana, Quentin Hunter brings a rare, multidisciplinary perspective to the architectural stone industry. Straddling the line between design theory and real-world execution, Quentin ensures that every piece of natural and cast stone not only meets aesthetic intent but performs flawlessly in the field.

Bridging Design and Construction
The gap between an architect's vision and a contractor's installation can be a primary source of friction in commercial and luxury residential builds. Quentin eliminates this gap. Holding a degree in architecture, a contractor’s license, and LEED AP certification, he evaluates stone procurement through a comprehensive lens. From structural load capabilities to sustainable building practices, his technical guidance helps architects and builders anticipate challenges before they reach the job site.

Mastery of Traditional & Advanced Materials
With decades of hands-on and theoretical experience, Quentin specializes in the technical applications of a vast spectrum of architectural masonry. His expertise covers traditional materials—including Oklahoma sandstone, Pennsylvania bluestone, and Lueders buff limestone—as well as cutting-edge, lightweight solutions such as Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), Cast Limestone, thin slate panels, and stone from other countries.

A Tech-Forward Approach to Masonry
Quentin is redefining how architectural stone is specified and visualized. By integrating advanced technology—from AI-driven architectural rendering models to custom-built project management software—he provides clients with unprecedented clarity during the design phase. This technology-first approach allows for precise visual mockups, streamlined communication, and highly accurate material specification.

Industry Leadership & Education
Operating alongside his wife and majority owner, Rachel Hunter, Quentin has helped build Hunter Stone into a premier Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Beyond procurement, he is a dedicated educator within the architectural community, frequently developing and delivering AIA Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) continuing education presentations to empower architects with the latest technical knowledge in stone masonry.
